Our team operates at the intersection of synthetic biology, machine learning and developer tools. We are building the platform to allow any bio-engineer to design and optimize cell-factories. Our machine-designed sequences actually get tested in our physical wet-lab.

We offer access to state of the art offices (Zurich, Delft) and laboratory (Delft) at our two sites. You can work remotely for a couple of days per week, but we do find it important to meet each other in person every week to build our team. We also travel between Switzerland and the Netherlands to meet up every quarter.

Life doesn’t just happen at work. Many of us have young families and all of us truly value a proper work-life balance. We trust that people get their work done, and don't care when or where they do it (although we ask that you run wet-lab experiments in our laboratory, rather than your home bathtub). We ask that you take at least 25 days off per year, and more if you need it. We offer 4 months parental leave. Part-time work is often an option, and some of our leaders work part-time.
